It’s a new build for Mary Queen of Peace

The Education Minister, Paul Givan (MLA), visited Mary Queen of Peace Primary School, Glenravel to announce the construction of a new nine classroom school build for the Glenravel community.

Members of the recently elected School Council greeted Mr Givan on arrival at the Martinstown site, before showing him the current building and the many maintenance problems the pupils and staff face. The pupils, along with members of the Project Team (who are managing the new build) and governors viewed plans for the new school.

Mr Givan then visited the site where the new Mary Queen of Peace Primary School building will be constructed.

This is an exciting time for the school, as everyone looks forward to a new school in Glenravel.
