Autism NI Impact Award

St. Mary's on the Hill PS Staff have been awarded the Autism NI Impact Award. This award was given because of the training and commitment that the staff of St. Mary's on the Hill PS, Newtownabbey, have to ensuring all its pupils' needs are supported. They are an inclusive school, and this award recognises this. The school has established a Specialist Provision in Mainstream class supporting Social and Communication needs for Foundation Stage and Key Stage 1, next year their Keys Stage 2 class will begin operation. After this recognition the Staff are confident that they will be able to support all their children well.
