Barry was a highly regarded and deeply dedicated school leader with a lifelong connection to St Oliver Plunkett’s, as a past pupil, a teacher of more than twenty years, and latterly as its Principal. He was a man wholly committed to Catholic education and to the life of his community, serving his parish with great faith and devotion.
Our heartfelt sympathies and prayers are with Barry’s wife, his children, and his wider family circle at this devastating time.
We also hold in our thoughts and prayers the entire St Oliver Plunkett’s school community - the children and young people, the staff, the governors, and all in the wider Beragh community who knew and loved him.
